Job Description

Head of Merchandising & Business Development
Qualification: MBA preferably in Marketing
Experience: 10+ Years
Location: Head Office, Lahore
Salary: 200K (Negotiable as per relevant experience)
Candidates having experience in Large Textile Sectors will be preferred.
Eligibility Criteria:
Must have experience in creating new Denim/Textile set up.
Must have visited international Market and have exposure of Sales Generation for the same.
Must have dealt or still dealing with international customer's accounts and be able to facilitate organization by bringing new orders and generating sales from the customers.
Job Description:
Overseeing the planning and implementation of Business Development strategies and develop links to grab the orders.
Conduct research to identify new International markets and customer needs.
Building/maintaining strong relationships with International customers to generate leads and ultimately deliver the agreed level of sales volume and profits.
Responsible to achieve existing capacity from new Clients with in assigned sales targets by continuous and positive follow ups.
Schedule international visits and represent the organization on company's behalf to develop sales volume and to grab orders.
Ensure for having prior links in International markets with customers and facilitate the organization by them accordingly.
Responsible to achieve sales targets by regular follow ups on enquiries/ sales orders.
Prepare sales action plans by identifying and evaluating customer’s needs and priorities.
Handling customer’s accounts and regularly prepare Sales reports.
Develop business strategies by closely following key sales possibilities and prepare accurate sales forecasts.
Costing/price calculation of each new development (all old developments in case of change of costing model) in provided costing model considering factors (CF, Packaging Cost, Special Treatments etc.) and getting them finalized from Higher Management.
Train subordinate sales staff ensuring they are up to date on product and marketing initiatives.
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods and costs by ensure development in sales structure for smooth functioning of process.
Follow up with customers along with team to have approvals on submitted samples.
Responsible for conducting extensive market research for the specific markets assigned and then work accordingly.
Responsible to select and suggest Denim/Garments based on the needs and fashion trends of the target market being focused.
