Senior Architect

1. Review and design architectural and engineering plans, ensuring all plans are in compliance with governmental health and safety regulations.
2. Plan and execute new building designs, extensions, alterations, restorations and conservations end to end.
3. Research and maintain knowledge of various engineering disciplines, application methods, and materials.
4. Monitor the work of the department, ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets.
5. Provide guidance to subcontractors like builders, plumbers and electricians and helping them interpret design specifications.
6. Liaise with clients to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner, and that project requirement are met.
7. Act as a mentor to new architects and helping hem fine-tune their design skills and improve their industry knowledge.
8. Evaluate reports, decisions and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of department and services performed.
9. Maintain reports on budgets, expenses, and activity logs and share with the Manager. Coordinate with other departments to achieve organizational goals.

Skills Required:
−        Knowledge of development  and emerging trends in the industry
−        Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
−        Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3D Studio VIZ or similar software)
−        Visual awareness and an eye for detail
−        Strong imagination and ability to think and create in 3 dimension
−        Communication & Project Management Skill
−       Compliance and regulatory knowledge
