Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate activities of personnel in operating room including deployment of technical and nursing staff under their respective area (routine & emergency OTs)
Ensure adherence to procedure and schedule approved by authorities.
Responsible for scheduling scrub nurses and other support staff to ensure that surgical procedure are performed efficiently.
Prepare the necessary surgical equipment and make sure operating room is clean, sterile & maintained.
Daily Checking of OT table, lights, gas supply system, suction bottle and electric sockets.
Ensure that the instruments used in procedures are properly stylized.
May oversee pre and post-operative care of patients.
